When You're Not There Pet Care is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations when it comes to your pets and your home! We arrive on time, feed meals as you do and sweet talk your furkids; just like you do! Started in 2002 as a dog walking service, we have grown to offering drop in pet care visits, medication administration, and overnight petsitting / housesitting. With over 32 years of pet care and handling experience garnered in veterinary and kennel settings, we are adept at caring for your cat, dog or pocket pets. Offering drop in visits during your work day, weekend to the coast or extended holiday vacation; we aim to meet your (and your pets) needs. Living in the Portland metro area for 12 years and providing petsitting services to dozens of pet-parents has been wonderful. I think we enjoy your pets almost as much as you do! We currently provide services in select areas of Clackamas and Washington counties - call for current rates. All visit rates include mileage/distance charges from our Tigard location, the level of care for your pet(s), number of pets and time involved.

"It is great having When You’re Not There Pet Care available to feed and walk my dogs when I have to work late or attend functions. They are great with my dogs and don’t simply feed, walk and then occupy the house – they also play with the dogs which is very important to me.
